Brookwood Tops Gwinnett Schools in SAT Scores

Gwinnett results continue to top state, national averages.

Gwinnett County Public Schools released SAT scores for the Class of 2012, the sixth class to take the new version of the SAT, which features a writing section. Once again, Gwinnett test-takers topped state and national averages on all sections (critical reading, math, and writing) of the test. Brookwood topped Gwinnett County schools with a score of 1614. Local Scores Brookwood: 1614 (2012); 1610 (2011) South Gwinnett: 1339 (2012); 1336 (2011) Shiloh: 1375 (2012); 1382 (2011) While the national SAT average dipped, both state and local averages increased. Gwinnett County Public Schools released SAT scores for the Class of 2011, the fifth class to take the new version of the SAT, which features a writing section. Once again, Gwinnett test-takers topped state and national averages on all sections (critical reading, math, and writing) of the test. However, SAT averages at local, state, and national levels decreased overall. Test participation in Gwinnett County Public Schools continues to be noteworthy as more and more students take the SAT and prepare for college.
