Grace Raines Honored for Outstanding Academic Achievement at The Citadel
She will be honored during a special ceremony on Jan. 25.
Grace Catherine Raines, of Snellville, was recently honored for outstanding academic achievement at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, during the fall semester of the 2012-2013 academic year. Raines earned one of the college's top academic honors, a Gold Star. Gold Stars are presented to students who achieve a 3.7 grade point average or higher during a semester's course work. Gold Stars are worn on the collar of the cadet full dress and dress uniforms and the summer leave uniform. Raines is a cadet seeking a bachelor's degree in Chemistry at The Citadel.
