Snellville Businesses to Honor Local Veterans
Several Snellville restaurants are offering free meals and other specials for veterans and members of the armed forces.
Today through Nov. 12, 10% of all gift card sales at Texas Roadhouse will be donated to the Snellville Veterans Memorial fund. With a $500 purchase, Texas Roadhouse will purchase a brick in the memorial on your behalf. You can use it to honor or remember a friend or family member, or use it to thank veterans on behalf of you family, according to Texas Roadhouse manager Sam Roper. On the 12th, Texas Roadhouse will open early for lunch. All veterans eat free from the "Early Dine" menu from 11 a.m. through 3 p.m. "Sam Roper always gives back to our community," said Mayor Pro Tem Tom Witts.
