Snellville Nanobrewery Racks Up Awards, Recognition

Wayne Baxter's Monkey Wrench Brewing Company is moving on up in the craft beer world.

The self-proclaimed "Monkey Men" are back it, making a name for themselves in the world of craft beer by winning awards and moving forward with their business plans at a rapid pace.  Featured in Snellville Patch last October, they have since earned a couple of trophies at the 2012 Summits Holidaze Homebrew Competition, winning the People’s Choice Award for their “Very Merry Monkey Ale,” a spiced, Christmas-style dark ale, and Second Place Award in the IPA category for “Hop Monkey IPA.” A couple of weeks later, Baxter was back – this time offering his liquid creations to the crowd at Summits Beans-and-Brews for Boobs breast cancer benefit event.
