Local Ladies Attend A Valentine's Tea Party at the Elegant Yancey House
The Yancey House in Grayson was the location for a special Valentine's Tea Party on Saturday, hosted by the Grayson Arts and History Center.
The place to be for many Snellville, Grayson and Loganville on Saturday was at the Yancey House where the Arts and History Center hosted a Valentine's Tea Party. Guests were treated to an afternoon tea in the tradition of British aristocracy with scones, fine foods and tea of the highest quality. The Yancy House was the perfect location, according to Barbara Hinkle, director of the Grayson Arts and History Center and wife of Grayson Mayor Jim Hinkle. "Isn't this just beautiful," Hinkle said of the Yancey House. "We often have Tea Parties organized by the History Center, but this time we were able to have it here at the Yancey House."
