About Amberr

Hello! My name is Amberr Meadows. I became a professional writer in January, 2010, but it's been my dream to write for more than 20 years. I enjoy writing about weight loss, books and authors, Georgia travel, moms issues and schizophrenia.

I have a B.A. in Psychology from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. I became fascinated with schizophrenia in my first abnormal psychology course at Oglethorpe University several years ago, and it's now a kind of a passion of mine to learn more about it and share my findings with others. I feel that individuals with schizophrenia are often grossly misunderstood, and it is my goal to help erase the stigma associated with being schizophrenic through my work.

In my free time I enjoy reading, writing, kayaking, dancing and taking mini-vacations with my family. Prior to becoming a writer, I worked as a mortgage loan officer at a large banking institution.education. Information on my work can be found here: Amberr Meadows, Like a Bump on a Blog, and My Suite.

To Amberr Meadows:
The "fuss" over the School board redistricting is due to the massive effect such decisons have on the future of our community. It's not only about getting the best education possible for our children, but also about Tax bases, Home values, Transportation issues such as overcrowded streets, etc. etc.
