ReplyI bow and curtsy to you Mr. Howard. I just wish you outlined how many untruths were in her post that you quoted. I do know that you didn't stop her from stating her opinion. I doubt anybody but a judge could ever stop her from talking over the rest of the counsel.

ReplyMr. and Mrs. Mascaro, "the devil is in the details" You need to "be informed about the details" before passing judgement. I would take Counselman Howard's suggestion and watch the video's of the counsel hearings this month. You could be as shocked at the temperment of our Mayor as many of us former supporters are.

ReplyLarry, from what I'm reading you are right but I think you are wrong about the whole consel being at fault. It would seem that the chairwoman is the one causing the chaos by not allowing the others to do business without condeming them as being out of order. I'm not seeing excess spending unless you mean the lawsuits that once agin point to the chairwoman.

ReplyGolly, I go on a cruise for two weeks and look what happens. The two live blogs provided much better entertainment than the Rhapsody theater did on my ship. I heard many jokes about "Honey Boo Boo" when people heard i was from Georgia. Ha! if they only knew! Honey Boo Boo only bullys her parents, not a whole city.

ReplyAdmittedly I arrived at the meeting late, finding out that it wasn't cancelled at the last minute. Having said that all I can remark upon is what I saw for the time I was there.
I saw a Bully alright, and it wasn't any of the gentlemen sitting on the elevated platform. It was the person who holds the title of Mayor. She bullied Mr Powell, the parliamentarian, and consistently belittled and verbally shut down other members of council. The people I spoke with after meeting, including some of her supporters, were appalled at her behavior and condescending attitude. Every citizen should see how this woman represents them, I have enough faith in people that I believe that they would not stand for this behavior from their 8 year old child let alone their "Mayor". -

ReplyThe fact that Mrs Swinney is donating the proceeds proves to me the sincerity of her actions. When are the good folks of Snellville going to have enough of this tyrannical Mayor. Just watch that video, OMG. Who does she think she is.

Sharon, from what I've read she is the one who is suing the rest of the counsel. Now she wants the citizens to "chip in" Next thing you know she will want us to pay for her indiscretions with the first amendment . Oh! wait a minute!
