Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Marks Time2Inspire School of Arts' Grand Opening

Snellville City officials and members of the Greater Eastside Chamber of Commerce were in attendance.

Time2Inspire Performing Arts School was honored by the City of Snellville with a ribbon-cutting ceremony earlier today to celebrate their grand opening in downtown Snellville.  

Council members Bobby Howard, Tom Witts, Mike Sabbaugh, Mayor Kelly Kautz and Police Chief/ Interim City Manager Roy Whitehead were among those in attendance, along with a host of students, teachers and friends.  

Owned by , the school offers after-school classes in arts, sports and education.

“One of the biggest initiatives we have,” said Lonnie Boykin, “is encouraging children through character development. Be people of integrity in front of your parents and behind their backs.”

Alisa is a former model and Lonnie is a former professional football player.

“If you ever want anything in life,” said Lonnie, “remember, go after it with a good heart, be sincere, operate with integrity and doors will open up for you that no man can shut.”

The school held a short performance with some truly gifted vocalists, guitarists and dancers, all students and teachers of the school.

“It just goes to show we have very talented people here in Snellville,” said Mayor Kelly Kautz following the performance. “We look forward to seeing what comes of your business.”
