Carry an umbrella: The national weather service says there's a 60 percent chance of rain in Thursday morning that could develop into a thunderstorms later in the day, where there's a 30 percent chance. The high is 74 degrees and the low is 56 degrees.

Red carpet premiere: 
Carmike 12 in Snellville is hosting a red carpet movie premiere Thursday night for the Georgia-made independent film "Stand Your Ground - The True Story of A Cry for Justice." Click here to read about the film and watch the trailer.

Artful doors: 
Snellville City Hall has a group of decorated doors outside as part of the county-wide "Doors to Homes and Hope" exhibit. The doors, which will be up until Nov. 2, aim to bring awareness to the housing problem in Gwinnett, and proceeds from door sales will benefit Habitat for Humanity.
